Work Plan for the conservation-restoration of the church vaults – 1st phase/Phase I1 (Pilot): Photographic and graphic survey of: conservation condition; past interventions; conservation-restoration activities; conservation-restoration of stone masonry and stonework, including cleaning, structural reinforcement, joint treatment, and readhesion of detached fragments; conservation-restoration of stained glass; maintenance of the chancel vault; conservation and maintenance of a chancel window frame and of the triumphal arch.
Areas Three Manueline vaults – South Room, Southern bay of the high choir, and North transept chapel; stained glass on the South Room; vault and (two) windows of the chancel.
Materials Stone (Lioz, Encarnadão and Amarelo de Negrais limestones; marble); Metals; Others (stained glass)
Analyses Installation of a temperature and relative humidity monitoring system inside the church.
