Studies on the effectiveness and compatibility of consolidants; studies on mortars and application methodologies; among others. The articulation between conservation and restoration and the natural sciences resulted in the implementation of theoretically supported and technically feasible solutions, the fruit of a truly interdisciplinary effort.
