Belém Tower

In 1999 the conservation project of the exterior of the Belem Tower, carried out by Nova Conservação/NC between 1997 and 1998, received the EUROPA NOSTRA Award for its technical and scientific excellence. The official ceremony took place on the Belém Tower on June 16, 2000.

Santa Clara-a-Velha Monastery

The Valorization Project for the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Velha, in Coimbra, carried out by the HCI Construções, SA/Nova Conservação Ltd consortium between 2006 and 2008, won the EUROPA NOSTRA Award in the category ‘Conservation’. The Jury “warmly praises this project for its thoughtfully chosen traditional conservation techniques and for the continued monitoring and maintenance of the site. […] The democratic and ongoing dialogue […] ensured that appropriate and current conservation options were carried out.”

Church of Santa Isabel

The Jury awarded the Prize to the rehabilitation project (both functional and constructive), the redesign of the furniture and the painting restoration of the Church of Santa Isabel, in Lisbon, highlighting, among other aspects, “the multidisciplinary and extremely high level of qualification of the team (…)”

The jury of the SOS Azulejo Awards distinguished REFER in the 'Conservation and Restoration Intervention' category, for the “conservation and restoration works carried out in the Pinhão and in the S. Bento railway stations”. The São Bento station intervention was carried out by Nova Conservação, between 2010 and 2011.
